"Food for Thought" events
Join in building friendship and community across different religious, spiritual and secular identities. Enjoy a free dinner and student-facilitated conversation. All CSU students are welcome.
Ongoing - Thursday evenings
About the event: Free dinner and student-facilitated interfaith and belief conversation. Come develop skills in dialog and relationship-building with people who may believe differently from you. Enjoy a proselytization-free zone (no one attempts to convert anyone) where we can build community and learn from each other’s experiences. Folks of all beliefs and no beliefs are welcome.
Location: Food for Thought takes place in the Pawnee Grassland Room in the Foundry Dining Facility, which can be accessed through Corbett and Parmalee Halls. The Pawnee Grassland Room is located at the far west end of the Foundry. Vegetarian, Vegan, Kosher, gluten-free, and dairy-free options can all be found at the Foundry dining facility.
Dates and Topics: Food for Thought takes place on the following Thursdays from 5:30-7:45 pm. We’ll gather to share a meal at 5:30. Dialogue runs from 6-7:45pm.
At the Foundry:
- Enter the front doors to Parmalee Hall and walk thru to The Foundry dining hall entrance.
- At The Foundry entrance, you’ll see someone (posted from 5:30-6 pm) with a “Food for Thought” sign. They can swipe you in.
- Grab some dinner and join us in the Pawnee Grassland Room (towards the back of the dining hall, near the Corbett Hall entrance).
- We gather to eat together from 5:30-6, and begin the dialogue program at 6pm.
Registration is available until 11:30am on the day of the event. Please email Laura.Nelson@colostate.edu with any questions.
